California, the most populous state in the union, has set up emission standards for fossil-burning autos. I can't quote the specific details, but what is significant is that all autos driven have to conform to those new standards, a victory for Global Warming. So effectively he has done what Congress did not do, as automakers who wish to sell here will have to conform to California and ostensibly throughout the country. So write or contact Governor of California to express your support. He's going to need it, I'm afraid!!
